Last weekend, we went on evangelism around the community, and as we moved, a sister began to sing a song " If I don't pray, Satan will make jest of me...' as she shared the tracks with people. I began to ruminate on the song and I came to understand better that the devil toys with a cold life.

"Where no wood is, there the fire goes out" Proverbs 26: 20. There must always be woods to keep the fire burning. This altar must be hot at all times.

Prayer is one of the most powerful tools to overcome in life. I've heard many people saying, ' If there is a man to pray, there is a God to answer' That means if we pray, God will surely answer us.

The more prayerful you are, the more you conquer the battles of life. The world is called a battlefield and it takes a warrior not just anybody to win the battle. There are many promises unfulfilled because we do not pray.

Prayer is like the fuel that fast-tracks the movement of a car. A car without fuel is as useless as nothing. Prayer is the fuel we need to speed up the journey of life.

I have prayed and I'm still praying and I know God does not forsake the prayers of his children. He just wants it to come with a humble and sincere heart.

Daddy Adeboye in yesterday’s Open Heaven talked about the place of waiting after we have prayed and rolled all requests to God, there is a place for us to wait for the mind of God about our request. " If you are a child of God, you should note that God also wants to speak to you concerning your situation. The most important part of prayer is hearing what God has to say concerning situations.
